I do not receive emails to hotmail
An electronic mail (electronic mail, usually abbreviated e-mail or email) is a network service that allows users to send and receive messages (also called electronic messages or digital letters) over electronic communication networks. Electronic mail systems are based on a store-and-forward model, so it is not necessary for both ends to be connected at the same time. An electronic mail system is an electronic mail system.
Email systems are based on a store-and-forward model, so that it is not necessary for both ends to be connected simultaneously. A mail server is used for this purpose, which acts as an intermediary, temporarily storing messages before they are sent to their recipients. On the Internet, there are a multitude of such servers, including companies and Internet service providers.
E-mail predates the creation of the Internet. The earliest antecedent dates back to 1962, when the Massachusetts Institute of Technology purchased an IBM Model 7090 time-sharing computer (upgraded in 1963 to an IBM 7094) that allowed multiple users to log in from remote terminals, thus saving files to disk. This system was used informally for exchanging messages, but as early as 1965 the MAIL service was developed, which facilitated the sending of messages between users of this machine.
I do not receive emails to gmail
If someone has sent an e-mail to your Outlook.com e-mail account, but you can’t find it, read Find Mail and People on Outlook.com. If the message never arrived, there are several things you can do to try to fix the problem:
If the folder contains messages that have been marked as unwanted by mistake, right-click each e-mail, and then choose Mark as wanted. The message will automatically be moved to the Inbox.
If the Inbox is full, you will not receive any new messages. To make room in the Inbox, try emptying the Junk Mail folder by right-clicking Junk Mail > Empty folder.
If you filter the Inbox based on categories or if the sorting criteria is different than usual, all the messages you expected to see may not be displayed. The filtering and sorting options are located at the top of the message list.
What to do when my e-mails do not arrive
This time, however, we are not going to focus specifically on smartphones, but we want to look at problems receiving emails in Gmail in general, which affect your personal account, regardless of the device you are using.
To check the performance of the servers, another interesting test is to send an email to yourself, which will give you a guideline as to whether they are working or not. Or you can ask someone to send you an email.
This is a mistake that seems like a beginner’s mistake but it happens much more frequently than you would think. We are talking about the emails that we cannot find and, as always, are in the Junk folder.
The same goes for the Trash, sometimes you can inadvertently delete an email from your smartphone and then when you look for it from your computer, you can’t find it. Always check the Trash, just in case.
If you always use the same browser, you can try your luck with a different one to see if the error is there. Always keep in mind that Gmail supports only four browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
Why don’t I get my gmail emails on my iphone?
Obviously, as soon as you do not express yourself in the same way in an email to a friend, in an advertising email or in a purchase confirmation email, Gmail will immediately know whether the email is “personal” or “commercial”.
Other elements that can be taken into account: the history of emails received from an IP address or a sender, contextual elements and the reactions of the recipients… there are many elements very close to those mentioned for detecting spam, which can influence the categorization made.
Another factor to take into account is the image/text ratio. If you are sending a very long email, you can probably get away with adding 1 or 2 images, but if it is a short message, then the presence of two images will generate an alert.
How often do you use HTML formatting to create different formatting effects when sending an email to a friend or family member? Probably never. Your marketing emails should be in plain text format, don’t be tempted to make them look better with HTML formatting.
