Our iOS device either iPhone or iPad has a default email manager with the name Mail. In this email manager we can link virtually any of your email accounts (1 or more) to receive, open and read all the emails you receive in these email accounts regardless of the email service you use: Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, hotmail, etc..
Another solution, which we recommend, especially because it is much faster, more direct and automatic, is to mark emails as read from the default Mail app. If you want to know how to do this, here is how to do it.
The first thing to do is to open the Mail app. Once opened, you will be shown the global inbox, so we will have to press the back option and thus access the main screen of the Mail app.
Once inside the desired account, you will have to go to Inbox. This will show all the messages received in this email account (read and unread) and we will have to press on the Edit option located at the top right of the screen. Next, the Mark All option will be displayed and you will have to click on it.
