8) The next thing to do is to enter in the requested field the confirmation code that we will receive in the email account (the one we are setting up, not the Gmail mailbox). If the code entered is correct we will have completed the process of setting up the account of our domain in Gmail.

8. Without leaving the Gmail account, go to “Settings” > “Accounts & Import” > “Send mail as”, click on “Add another email address”. In the “Name” field, enter the name you are going to give to your email (example: “My User”) and in the “Email Address” field, enter the email with the custom domain you used previously (example: miusuario@midominio.com) and uncheck the “Treat as an alias” box.
