Import emails to outlook
Email accounts become in most occasions our personal agendas and nowadays we can also synchronize them with our smartphones. These agendas are getting bigger and bigger and where we also like to store as much information as possible.
That is why we are going to focus on how to move contacts from Gmail to Outlook in a comfortable way to avoid having to go one by one copying them from one email to another. To do this, the first thing to do is to log in to our Gmail account and once inside the webmail click on Gmail at the top left of the window and select the contacts option. Once inside the contacts section we must click on the More button and choose the Export option.
A new window will appear with the option to indicate which contacts we want to export, being able to select certain contacts, a group or all the contacts. In addition it will be necessary to indicate the format to export it, which in this case will be an Outlook CSV.

Importing or transferring your contacts to your phone is very easy. Export Outlook contacts to a csv file and then import them to Gmail. Once the contacts have been uploaded to Gmail, simply synchronize Gmail with your phone.

The process to move emails from Outlook to Gmail is very simple. Basically the whole process is done from our Gmail account, although logically we also have to have access to our Outlook account.
We have to click on Import mail and contacts. Here we will see that a space appears to write the address of the account where these e-mails are and where we want to import. It can be Yahoo, Outlook…
From here it will begin a process of importing the e-mails to the Gmail account from Outlook. This process will logically depend on the amount of e-mails we have. Gmail warns us that it can take several hours. We will be able to see this process in the same section, going to Configuration, Accounts and import and in the section Import mail and contacts.
In short, by following these simple steps we can transfer all the emails we have in Outlook to Gmail. As we have mentioned, we can not only import emails, but also contacts. Moreover, it is not exclusive for Outlook, but we can also import e-mails from other services such as Yahoo.

When you are done with this step, you will see your existing Gmail messages in Outlook. You can use Outlook to receive, read and send new messages from your Gmail account. You can also continue to use your Gmail account as you did before through the Gmail web site.
When you are finished with this step, a copy of your Gmail messages will be stored in a file that Outlook creates on your desktop. The file is called Outlook Data File (.pst). If you receive additional emails in your Gmail account after taking this snapshot, those additional messages will not be copied to the .pst file, but you can always repeat these steps to copy them.
