Finalize headset configuration
Configuring Smart Lock is very simple, although first we have to take a previous and mandatory step to be able to use it, which is obviously to configure a screen lock. From Settings > Security > Screen lock we will activate the type of lock that we like.
If we do not see the Smart Lock option in the Security section of the screen we must go down to the Advanced section, enter Trusted Agents and check that Smart Lock is enabled.
Smart Lock will only ask us to manually unlock our device after restarting it or if we do not use it for 4 hours. In all other occasions it will automatically unlock if it detects some of the detected trust situations.
Its first drawback is that some Bluetooth connections can have a range of up to 100 meters, so if someone picks up our device they will be able to use it while they are near the trusted device. The second drawback is that someone can mimic our Bluetooth connection to keep your phone unlocked even if the trusted device is not nearby, as sometimes they are not able to detect if the connection is secure. If they detect that the connection is not secure you will have to unlock it manually.
